Steve Decker is a musician-drummer-composer in the New Jersey metropolitan area. His versatility as an artist makes him a MUSICAL drummer, and his passion for creativity brings the music to life. Steve speaks many languages when it comes to music. New Orleans Funk to the Delta Blues, Acid Jazz to Traditional Bop, Acoustic Folk to Hard Rock, Motown to Pop.

His performance and Recording schedule has included ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME keyboardist BERNIE WORRELL (P-Funk, The Talking Heads), also GRAMMY AWARD WINNING BLUES HALL OF FAME JAMES COTTON (Muddy Waters). Also soundtracks and jingles for various TV spots that include a remake of “SHAFT” with the Legendary ISAAC HAYES for USA Networks hit show MONK, and The Travel Channels WORLD POKER TOUR.

Steve is centrally located in the NY/NJ/Philly area, and travel through these three states for studio work/sessions. He also has a set-up for recording drum tracks for smaller projects, such as TV/Film drum and percussion overdubs, pre-production demoing for Singer/Songwriter, drum tracks via internet and more…
